Dentistry is a subject that is near and dear to Michelle Truong's heart. As an immigrant from Vietnam, a country that broadly and generally seeks professional healthcare only when there's a problem, Dr. Truong makes it her professional mission to emphasize the importance of preventive care to the general public - how regular dental checkups and cleanings can improve oral health. A memory from her childhood that impacts her still today is one of her mom crying in pain from a toothache. She was unable to see a dentist because it occurred on a weekend, when no dental help was available. At Banyan Tree Dental, our primary purpose is to provide care at your convenience, by opening on the weekends, so that you can get the crucial "checkup and cleaning" appointment, fix that broken tooth, enhance your smile, obtain better health, and move on with life!
Dr. Truong feels fortunate to be a dentist in this time, with advanced technology and high-quality material, making it fun for her. She enjoys providing care for her patients and feels privileged to be able to restore a smile or relieve a toothache. She likes all aspects of dentistry, but her passion is in orthodontics, where she would straighten crowded teeth or close spaces to restore a balanced bite, allow easier cleaning, and achieve a desired smile for her patients. Seeing her patients' boost of confidence in their wide, beaming smiles and demeanor after their teeth are straightened, whitened, or cosmetically enhanced makes her day so fulfilling!
When she's not at the office, Dr. Truong is usually traveling to explore the country and world, reconnecting and visiting with her roots in Asia, attending a concert in "the capital of live music," or spending much important time enjoying the hill country with her family and teaching their dog, Azul, a fun trick!
Dr. Truong welcomes you to Banyan Tree Dental!
Since Dr. Natallia Trybunko graduated from the Medical University in Belarus in 1997 and from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2015, she has provided a full range of dental treatment to her patients at several dental clinics for about 20 years. She enjoys being a dentist and feels that nothing can be more rewarding than the interpersonal relationships she experiences with her patients. She loves to watch the transformation in a person as his or her teeth are fixed. She also loves to create broad, beautiful smiles, and to observe how people's self-esteem visibly increases with each visit.
She looks forward to a long professional career and wants to dedicate her time to provide excellence in comprehensive dental care. Also, she desires to be a respected, contributing member of our society. "I want to treat my patients as I want to be treated": this is Dr. Natallia's work philosophy.
In her free time, Dr. Natallia enjoys spending time with her husband and son while traveling, reading, and hiking.
At Banyan Tree Dental, we welcome you not just as guests, but as family. Our lobby was built with the family in mind. So when you come to visit, you'll see a flat screen TV and sofas in our "family-room" styled lobby.
There is also a special area for your little ones to play, a beverage center, and an internet area with computers to check your email, play games, or browse the internet.
We enjoy seeing kids and our doctor is great with them! (She has three of her own pictured to the right) We see kids from about 6 months of age all the way to 99!
Our primary purpose is to serve you at your convenience by offering weekend appointments - Saturdays and two Sundays each month. We understand the importance of your time and realize that it would be easier for you to prioritize your dental care if you can schedule a time that doesn't interfere with work or school.
The Banyan tree is found in several areas of the world, particularly in India, and is also its national tree. On a trip to the Maldive Islands in the Indian Ocean, this tree made such an impression on Dr. Truong, that it became one of her favorite trees. In Pakistan and India, its twigs are used as toothpicks, the oldest dental cleaning instrument! Dr. Truong thinks this tree is meaningful and that its name is fitting for a dental practice.

Born in Ethiopia, Ali moved to the US in June, 2009, and settled in Washington State for 7 years. In the spring of 2016, she realized Austin is where she should be and relocated to the capital of Texas and has been here since. If asked, Ali would say that she loves life here in this city of Austin more than she does when she lived in the state of Washington! Interested in the field of dentistry, Ali went on to attend the Austin Dental Assistant School and earned her RDA degree in the spring of 2017.
She was hired to join our team as soon as she graduated due to her beautiful smile and social personality. She builds a great rapport with our patients and is passionate about her job as treatment coordinator. Ali is also the one responsible for any lab cases that you would have and makes sure that your visits to our office run as smoothly and comfortably as possible.
Outside of dentistry, Ali enjoys spending her free time working out at the gym and hanging out with her family! She's introduced the BTD team to the amazing flavors of Ethiopian food and readily shares her culinary skills!
Born and raised in north Texas, Amber moved to Tallahassee, FL to attend college at Florida State University where she graduated with a bachelors degree in art history. Moving back to Texas, Amber found her home and fiancé in Austin. Her insatiable hunger for learning led her back to school, this time to the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School where she became a licensed massage therapist. Through massage therapy, she found her passion for helping people. She loved watching the healing and the transformation of the people who came to see her. The desire to see healing and transformation in her own body led her once again back to school, to the Austin Dental Assisting School where she graduated with her Registered Dental Assistant license. She enjoys being a part of our patients' journey to better oral health and watching their smiles transform right in front of her.
During her free time, Amber enjoys continuing her massage practice, going to movies, singing karaoke with her fiancé, and hanging out with her two dogs Reba and Bree!
